Dr. Malik Anas

Alhaji Malik Anas is a seasoned financial expert and public servant from Katsina State, Nigeria. Holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, he brings extensive experience in fiscal management and governance. Anas previously served as the Katsina State Accountant-General and as Special Adviser to Governor Dikko Radda on Banking and Finance.

In January 2025, he was appointed Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, where he is tasked with aligning the ministry’s initiatives with the state’s “Building Your Future” agenda to drive economic growth and transparency.

A member of professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, Anas is renowned for his dedication to integrity, innovative problem-solving, and bridging divides in public service.
