Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule is the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State. Born on December 26, 1959, in Gudi Station, Nasarawa State, hails from a royal family; his father is the current Hakimi of Gudi, and his grandfather was its first traditional ruler. He began his education at RCM Primary School, Gudi, in 1968, and later studied at Zang Secondary Commercial School, Bukuru, Plateau State Polytechnic, and Indiana State University, USA, where he earned a BSc (1983) and MSc (1984) in Mechanical and Industrial Technology.
His career spans both Nigeria and the United States, with roles at Plateau Electricity Corporation, Jos Steel Rolling Company, and various U.S. engineering firms, rising to Director of Business Development for Osyka Corporation. Returning to Nigeria in 2000, he co-founded Sadiq Petroleum Ltd., became Managing Director/CEO of African Petroleum Plc, and later served as Director of Business Development at Tetra International.
Since then, Sule has been active in politics and development initiatives in Nasarawa State, supporting education, healthcare, and infrastructure. He is currently the Acting Group Managing Director of Dangote Sugar Refinery, Lagos.
